Kidco Learning Center ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you interact with our website, enrollment forms, and text messaging communications.
Information We Collect
We may collect your name, phone number, email address, and other information you provide when you contact us, request information, or enroll a child in our program.
When you request an offer or complete our online enrollment forms, this can include your address and ZIP code, your child's name, age and date of birth, schedule and school information, emergency contacts and authorized pickups, health, allergy and immunization information, household income information for the child care food program, the last four digits of a Social Security number when a state form asks for it, documents and photos you upload, and your electronic signatures.
We also collect some information automatically when you use our website, such as the pages you visit, the buttons you tap, your device and browser type, your approximate location based on your IP address, and the ad or link that brought you to our site.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to inquiries, provide updates about enrollment and programs, and communicate with you about your child's care. This includes sending text messages (SMS) when you have opted in to receive them.
Cookies, Analytics and Session Recording
Our website uses cookies and similar tools to understand how families use the site and to improve it:
- Session recording. We use PostHog to record how visitors use our website and forms, including mouse movements, taps, scrolling, and the information typed into forms, such as enrollment form answers. We review these recordings to find and fix problems and make our forms easier to complete. Recordings are kept in PostHog and are only accessible to authorized Kidco staff and the people who maintain our website.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics and PostHog to measure visits and how our pages perform.
- Advertising measurement. If you arrive on our site from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, we use the Meta Pixel and a cookie that remembers which ad you came from, so we can measure how our ads perform. When you then submit an offer request, we share limited information with Meta, including your email address and phone number in a scrambled (hashed) form, so Meta can match the request to the ad. Visitors who did not arrive from one of our Meta ads are not reported to Meta.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as saving your place in the enrollment forms, may not work without them.
Text Messaging (SMS) Terms
By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Kidco Learning Center related to enrollment, appointments, and program updates. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us directly.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers who help us operate our business, such as our website hosting, lead and enrollment record storage, email and text messaging, tour scheduling, analytics and session recording providers, solely for the purpose of delivering our services to you. We may also share information when required by law or by child care licensing and food program authorities.
Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. Completed enrollment packets are stored encrypted on our own server and are available only to authorized Kidco staff.
